What if AI made us prove we’re creative?

This year AI shook up creative strategy. Most teams are still working like it didn't.

Ari Murray, Chief Digital Officer at Salt and Stone sits down with Bryan Harvey, Head of Brand at Hightouch, for an honest conversation about what's breaking on creative teams right now, how the roles are changing, and what a day looks like when creatives spend it on ideas, concepts, and craft while agents handle the manual execution.

Leave with new insights from 3 experts in the field and 5 prompts to instantly improve your creative output.

πŸ”₯ And now, for your weekly spark.

Conviction.

Everybody wants a seat at the table. But what happens when you finally get one?

You’ve made the introduction, gotten the meeting, landed the role, or built the relationship. The door that used to feel out of reach is now wide open.

Now what?

I think a lot about access and what it makes possible. Bringing people and perspectives together creates opportunity, not just visibility. Getting in the room matters, but being in the room isn’t the same as knowing what to do once you’re there.

I’ve seen this play out through Hue too. For instance, when I brought Eva Longoria, senior CNN leadership, and CMOs together over breakfast this summer, it created a room where people who might not otherwise find themselves at the same table exchanged perspectives, discovered common ground, and saw possibilities they might’ve missed on their own. And as a result, they went on to connect with each other beyond just the breakfast itself. The value wasn’t just who was in the room. It was what became possible when they connected.

πŸ‘‰πŸ½ That takes more than access. It takes judgment, a willingness to see beyond what’s directly in front of you, and the conviction to act.

In a world where everyone has a take and AI can give you an answer in seconds, having a point of view is becoming a real advantage. Knowing when to trust your judgment and when to challenge it is part of the work too. Just like knowing when to override the default matters just as much as knowing when to move forward.

Curiosity helps you take it all in. Conviction helps you decide what it means.

Now Seed Health’s first-ever Chief Marketing Officer, Anisha built her career across beauty, CPG, and digitally native brands. Early on, she learned to connect marketing with the P&L, understanding not just how to build a brand, but how the business behind it works. That ability to see beyond her immediate function became an important part of how she grew.

Her advice is to get curious about the whole business. Learn how the product gets made, how the financials work, and where the company is going. Understand the pieces, then connect them.

Her personal principle is just as sharp: stay curious, but have a point of view.

It also brings me back to another question I’ve been asking recently: once you understand what matters to you, what are you willing to build your time, energy, and decisions around?

People around us can help us see opportunities differently and challenge our assumptions in community, but nobody else can supply your conviction for you.

At some point, you have to decide what you believe and be willing to act on it.

πŸ“Œ The C.A.L.L. Framework

When an opportunity presents itself, how do you move from possibility to action? This framework helps me approach things with conviction.

πŸ‘‰πŸ½ C: Clarify the opportunity in front of you. What are you really trying to achieve?

πŸ‘‰πŸ½ A: Ask the questions that challenge your assumptions. What are you missing?

πŸ‘‰πŸ½ L: Listen to people who see things differently. Who can help you see what you can’t?

πŸ‘‰πŸ½ L: Launch your next move. What can you do with what you now know?

You don’t need every answer before you act. You need enough perspective to make a thoughtful move and the conviction to follow through.

πŸ”₯ Remember: getting access is one thing. Knowing what to do with it is another.

This week’s Money Moves features Anisha Raghavan on building a broader view of business, trusting your judgment, and knowing when curiosity needs to become conviction.
