In Community Launches Today
Today, I'm introducing an effort that's been on my mind for a while now.
Those who know me well know that the journey with Hue began with my own experiences – frustration and barriers faced by friends, family, and coworkers throughout our careers. When I started Hue, what mattered to me was to make BIPOC voices heard and pave real paths for us.
And I knew we'd only get there together as a collective, supporting each other as Black, Indigenous, people of color (BIPOC). We would only make it happen by being in community with one another.
In Community with Fahad Khawaja launches today.
This newsletter will share a curated view of how we can build a brighter future that puts community at the core of how we grow our organizations and impact. And it's more important than ever, as we see people of color being attacked and continually marginalized at home and abroad, with our lives and livelihoods at stake.
The goal: To bring the margins to the mainstream and to drive a culture of wellbeing for those of us from historically excluded communities - and ultimately, all of us.
It's time to write a new narrative. For all of us - not just the few.
This is sure to evolve, so subscribe now and stay connected as we build.
Gen Z: Hear us, see us
We've all heard it. They're lazy. They're entitled. They don't want to go the extra mile. But the reality is Gen Z isn't who you think they are. The most diverse generation may also be the most misunderstood.
Hear directly from Gen Z leaders and professionals, considering their intersectional identities and what this means for them at work.
ICYMI: Hue Next launched to accelerate BIPOC leaders
Hue launched Hue Next, its leadership accelerator, last month.
Built on a model that connects BIPOC across functions and levels with one-to-one mentorship and peer connections, its focus leans heavily on meaningful relationships, community, and connections to accelerate our growth.
