I'm expanding: In Community #32

Your weekly boost of positive energy centering BIPOC

When I launched this newsletter, the goal was to drive a culture of wellbeing that centers those of us from historically excluded communities – and ultimately benefits all of us.

By bringing the margins to the mainstream – seeing more of us do well by doing good – it’s an active path to building the future we want to see.

So far, that’s included spotlighting some of the best of what’s going on around the internet, along with work that builds directly on Hue’s efforts to elevate more of us who haven’t had the same access.

Last week, I wrote about how we win collectively when each of us operates like pro athletes. Starting next week, I’m adding more one-on-one interviews of leaders working to change the game – whatever their game and area of expertise happens to be.

👉🏽 I want to hear from YOU

Who are the authors, social impact leaders, entrepreneurs, executives, and more who should get featured for how they’re moving us forward together?

Are you one of them? Reach out with your ideas by replying to this directly. I mean it – who deserves to get the spotlight on them?

And as you think through that, this week’s Need to Know might help inspire some ideas, with a mix of builders and barrier breakers across our communities and across industries.

🙌🏽 Enjoying In Community? Become a supporting subscriber. We’re a fully independent organization, which means we’re focused directly on social impact first – not just profit.

Show your support for our work to uplift those across our community, including voices who haven’t historically had the platforms they deserve.
